What is Saint Michael’s Mission?
Saint Michael’s Mission is to generate awareness of the power and protection of Saint Michael the Archangel to the world. This includes ongoing education, the publishing, sale and distribution of spiritual outreach tools and opportunities to witness.
We are currently distributing the Archangel Michael card you see above to those serving in law enforcement, the military, doctors, and any first responders who daily put their life on the line to protect and serve us. And of course, for anyone, anywhere in our troubled world.
You, too, can be part of this mission!
Who is Saint Michael the Archangel?
Archangel Michael is mentioned by name 5 times in the Bible where we see his role as Captain of the Lord’s Hosts, Prince of the Archangels, Defender of the Faith, and the Leader of the Lord’s Host in Armageddon demonstrated. In Daniel 12:1, it is revealed that archangel Michael has an important role as defender or guardian of God’s people: “At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people” (Daniel 12:1). To “stand up” comes from the Hebrew word amad, which means “to interpose; to come forth to render aid” (Strong’s Lexicon). There are numerous examples to sight the spiritual intercession in literature, art and history of this Mighty Archangel.**
Why call (pray) to Archangel Michael for assistance?
The angels of God’s service are prayer intercessors that by Cosmic Law we may call upon for our physical and spiritual protection when we call upon their name.
According to Divine Law, unless we (or someone on our behalf) call out in prayer to the angels for their assistance, they are not able to intercede on our behalf in time of need.
Many biblical references give us instruction on our use of prayer (the Word) and angelic assistance for our daily protection such as:
Ephesians 6:11, “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Psalms 91:11, “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.”
